Top 10 Casino Hotels

Quayside neon, Northwoods pines, Acoma sandstone: a working shortlist of ten hotels where the casino is simply one door off the lobby. We look at the beds, the menus, the bay or mesa outside, and the small print on surcharges and transfers.

TOP 102026

Who this list serves

It is meant for people sketching a short break choosing a casino hotel because the rooms, kitchen and surroundings appeal, not for what happens on the casino side. Every entry answers the same five prompts: what the rooms are like, which other facilities exist, the one feature worth travelling for, the route in from the closest airport, and the points to settle before paying.

Ownership up front: the hotel in first place, Oneida Casino, belongs to the Nation that publishes xcasiino.casino, and it heads the list for exactly that reason, not on merit. Our editors alone arranged numbers two to ten.

The ten

01 Publisher's own resort Owned by the publisher of this site

Oneida Casino

Green Bay, Wisconsin · Great Lakes

Rooms

Guest rooms and suites in the hotel that adjoins the casino building; the property traded under the Radisson name for years and now uses the Oneida Hotel name, so search both when you compare dates.

Facilities

  • Hotel joined to the casino by an indoor walkway
  • Several restaurants and a lounge
  • Conference rooms and banquet space
  • Terminal shuttle the hotel runs on request
  • Casino on site

Highlight

The airport sits right across Airport Drive. Land at Green Bay–Austin Straubel (GRB), ride the short shuttle and you are checked in before your bag has cooled down.

Best for

Fly-in overnights, regional conferences and anyone who wants zero driving after landing

Practical

  • Fees: Before paying, check with the desk whether a nightly facility charge or a parking fee rides on top of the rate.
  • Getting there: GRB is next door; book the shuttle with the room or phone the desk from the arrivals hall.
  • Check-in age: The front desk sets who may hold the room and how large the card hold is; settle both ahead of arrival.

This entry is listed first because the publisher of this site, the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin, owns the property. We wrote it with the same fields as the other nine and kept it to what can be checked on the official site. Meeting planners should ask the sales office for current room-block terms.

Questions

Which months suit these trips?

That hinges on where you head. Summer in Green Bay and the Northwoods is mild and long-lit while winter brings deep snow; the Colorado and New Mexico stays sit high, sunny and dry; and the Gulf, Atlantic and Puerto Rico hotels share a storm season running from about June into November, when flexible cancellation terms earn their keep.

How do I reach each hotel after landing?

Every entry names its usual arrival airport. Our first-place hotel faces Green Bay's GRB terminal across the road, the Isla Verde and Atlantic City stays are close to their airfields, and the rural Wisconsin, Colorado and New Mexico properties really call for a car. Courtesy vans vary by season, so raise it with the property.

Is there an age rule for registering?

Yes, though it varies from property to property and occasionally by room category. A few casino hotels insist on an older minimum than most hotels do. Clear it with the property ahead of booking, above all when the youngest adult in your party is the one reserving.

What could be added to the room price?

Plenty of casino hotels, notably in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, attach a nightly resort fee, and parking is frequently billed apart. Request the full figure with taxes included before handing over card details.

Can children come along?

Several of these hotels welcome families in rooms, pools and restaurants, while casino areas remain strictly adult. Because those policies shift, each entry reads "Ask the hotel"; check before travelling with kids.

Can I reserve a room through xcasiino.casino?

No. This is a reading guide only. Pressing "Check availability" carries you to the property's official website, where the room is booked with the hotel itself.

Why does Oneida Casino come first?

The Oneida Nation of Wisconsin publishes this guide and owns that hotel, and the ownership is the whole reason. It is flagged on the entry, in the method notes and right here. Places two to ten come from our editors.

Method

The starting pool was casino hotels with a genuine hotel side: rooms you can reserve, a proper place to eat, and surroundings interesting enough to describe with the casino left out. Each one was checked against its official pages and public visitor material, and anything we could not back up was cut.

First place is ours. The Oneida Nation of Wisconsin publishes this guide and owns Oneida Casino, so that property opens the list on ownership grounds rather than on merit, and any stay booked there pays the owner directly. None of the remaining nine positions was nudged by it.

Ordering places two to ten. Editors weighed the headline feature outside the casino, how painless the arrival is, the spread of trip styles across the whole list, and how openly each hotel publishes its own details. No grades or points are handed out, and no room totals or prices are guessed.

Our income. Referral commissions may reach us from some hotel buttons after a reservation; guests pay the same, and the commissions played no part in the order. The affiliate disclosure page has the long version.

Putting things right. Spotted a stale fact? Mail contact@xcasiino.casino and an editor will recheck it with the hotel's own material, normally inside a few working days.
